Pictures will arrive soon. I Baked chocolate Muffins following king Arthur's Recipe. They came out quite well, I used some Jacues Torres 85% chocolate pastelles as always. They do have some excellent chocolate.
I also followed their recipe for Corn Muffins with a kick, they were I must say a bit disappointing. They just didn't go with the flavor I want out of a corn muffin. Not corny enough and actually way too spicy. Not too spicy in that I was crying but it was covering all the flavors. I left out the Monterrey Jack Cheese, which possibly could have fixed things, but I feel the corn presence would not have been adequate.
I then Baked some Croissants de Patisserie. I realized I like de Boulangerie more. Well lesson learned, a few turned out well, but most not so. I will have to do both Boulangerie and Patisserie. Must perfect these great foods. Puff pastry is important to learn and master.
Food, for thought and the soul.
